PHILOSOPHY DAY - UNESCO

 

The third Thursday of November, according to UNESCO, our pupils of first

of Bachillerato are celebrating the International Day of Philosophy based on 

Transhumanism. After they had watched two documentaries on this topic, 

they made some posters related to Transhumanism. Below, there are some 

pics of their good job. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

WORLD SCIENCE DAY

 The 10th of November, our students of 1º ESO watched the film The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind in Biology Class with teachers Miss Ágata and Miss Yolanda. They are working in a project together with a Turkish highschool in Erciyes: now, we have new penpals. Wonderful experience!!!

DÍA EUROPEO DE LAS LENGUAS

Con motivo del Día Europeo de las Lenguas, miembros de la asociación ASICO de Sevilla nos visitaron y compartieron con nuestro alumnado de 3ºESO la experiencia de transmitir, mediante signos, mensajes previamente trabajados en clase en los distintos idiomas estudiados en nuestro instituto. Nuestros chicos se portaron muy bien y colaboraron activamente en esta actividad. Gracias.

ERASMUS DAY

We celebrated Erasmus Day on Friday 14th of October. Since some Italian teens are staying with us for a month, we prepared some snacks for the break and share this time with them. We enjoyed a lot and had fun painting our faces with the Italian flag. They also wrote something for us, thanks a lot!

Have a look at the new National Geographic books which have been bought for the library of our high-school. There is a variety of topics and, they are easy to read.
